Cierra's motherhood journey didnt start off the way she thought. Motherhood was always in the cards for her buttt just not the way it played out. But it's cool because 3 years of marriage and 3 kids later Cierra is a testament of what it looks like to be one of God’s favorites. She’s really quietly walking this blended life out (in some fire fits might I add) just showing us that He really ain’t play bout her, showing just how much he’ll redeem time. This is Blended like a MOTHA, pt. 1
From Morgan to Motha- It’s wild to have your life planned out and be stopped in your tracks by 2 pink lines. And depending on your phase of life it can be very ghetto. Cierra was walking the halls of Morgan State, but as you’ll hear, as unexpected as it was, that test was life-changing. Kinda ironic when you think about it.
Starting Over- Can we take a moment and acknowledge that it’s hard enough to jump in the dating pool again as a single woman. Attach a kid and it can really give “Imma just stick to the shallow end”. We gotta talk more about the fear around being heartbroken again. And no one wants to be on the mend with little eyes starring at you. For Cierra, it was still a scary jump but admittedly I’m jealous because her best friend caught her.
Transitions and Challenges- Okay so mushy gushy is great but let’s be real…blending ain’t easy. You’ve been running thangs around here for some time and as much as having help is much needed and desired, it’s an adjustment. It’s things they may do that won’t fly for you and yours. For Cierra, it was…tone.
Reservations and wins- One thing that’s always on the front of my mind when I think about taking the plunge, is are these people going to love and accpet my child as much as l love and accept their son? Because if not, we ride and dawn. It was great to know that one Cierra had these same thoughts and two, God did his big one for her once again.
One More Thing- Before we close out, we must discuss ya mental babe. This dating game is set to HARD so before you press play do a mental health check first.

I’m sure after all you’ve experienced it’s a huge risk trusting someone again with not only your heart but your child’s too. Do things Gods way, keep Him in the center of all things. Take your time, this is a HUGE decision. Pray on everything, and trust that God will never steer you wrong.”
