Bawdy…like a MOTHA

Bianca!!!!!!!

So ‘round 2019, this woman walks up to my classroom door to pick up her son looking BIG FINE! I mean locs were giving, the fit was *chefs kiss* and the BAWDY really made me wanna put the fork down. I’m not sure how we connected and became friends but however it happened I’m grateful! There was only one time I ain’t like sis, and it was when I was in her faith and fitness small group, The Lions Den. To be fair it was because she was making me do wall touches and I’ve since forgiven her for that. Wall touches aside, The Lions Den showed me how faith and fitness go hand in hand when it comes to B. As a wife & mother of 2, a lot has changed since we’ve met but one that has always been consistent is her love for God and passion for fitness. If you’re like me and tryna get ya bawdy in check…this is JUST for YOU!

Wrong reason right passion- Every good story starts with a great opening. Here’s how Bianca launched into the lifestyle of fitness.

Use It…Lose It- One of my favorite things about Bianca is her honesty, transparency, and willingness to share her experiences. After the birth of her second son, fitness was looking different. During this new part of her life, she had to learn something we all, at some point, try to avoid but have to do…surrender.

Grace and Enough- I can’t lie when me and B get together we be rapppppinggg—this part of our conversation talks about fresh perspectives on motherhood and learning self-acceptance.

Think It…See It- Bianca breaks down how achieving the body you want happens before you even hit the gym.

Bawdy definition- You should already know by now that Bianca’s definition will be way more than what our physical bodies should look like.

Honestly, this conversation with B was insightful and humbling. I was really giving that podcast “mmmm” (how embarazzing 😂) but her storyyyyy. She read me so clearly and truthfully I hope it read you too! I hope what you most got out of this was that first and foremost baby you are LOVED and you are ENOUGH…period. I hope you remember that your body is a temple and it’s your God-given responsibility to treat it as such. Care for her. Love her. Adorn her. And be gracious when you see cracks in the walls. Remember that the Master Builder is always the one who will put you back together. Go to therapy and get yo butt up and walk.

I love you…mean it- Ja’Nelle
